Work With CareHere's another oft-repeated rule of thumb that bears repeating:  What the board is testing for is basic competence.  That means that if you become licensed, they want to be sure you will do no harm. How do they test for this?  They ask again and again about clients who haven't been screened for a medical condition (refer them to an MD--it's out of your scope of practice!), about signs of abuse and neglect (report!), about cultural sensitivity (don't hurt people's feelings!). A, B, C, or D?  Well, which is the play-it-safe answer?  Much more often than not, that's your pick.
